What's Involved
An in-depth evaluation will precede your meeting in order to determine your treatment goals. All patients go through a thorough evaluation of their skin's tone, elasticity, and texture. The Patient's concern areas are numbed using a numbing cream. Profhilo® injections are performed using a premium microneedle, which does not require anaesthetic but can be added on at no additional expense if the patient so chooses. Treatment Duration
The treatment with Profhilo takes between 5-10 minutes.
Type Of Anaesthesia
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied prior to the treatment and generally takes around 30 minutes to perform.
Aftercare Requirements
The treated area may exhibit redness, swelling, or soreness. This is a typical side effect of the injections and usually goes away in a few days. Please avoid any medications such as Ibuprofen. Please refrain from drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to treatment and for at least 24 hours following treatment because it slows down the blood's ability to clot, increasing the risk of bruising. On the day of treatment, you can, if necessary, apply a cool compress for 10 minutes every half-hour to the treatment region (do not apply ice straight to the skin). For the next 24 hours, stay away from any heat-producing activities including vigorous exercise, spas, saunas, and hot showers as this raises the risk of bruising. For two weeks following treatment, refrain from getting facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, microdermabrasion, IPL, or laser treatments on the treated region. Avoid makeup for 24 hours after Profhilo treatment.
