About Eyelid Reduction Treatments

During your consultation our specialist ocular surgeon will examine the eyes and establish the right approach for you. We may treat the upper eyelid, lower eyelid or both. Upper eyelid surgery will involve making a small incision along the eye’s natural crease so that excess skin and tissue can be removed. With lower eyelid surgery, we’ll also look to remove excess skin, but the incision will be made along the eyelash line.

The results of eyelid surgery are long-term, and many patients do not feel the need to repeat surgery later on. In addition to tightening the skin around the eyes, the surgeon may also suggest adding volume to the area below the eye (tear trough).
